Open Sequence

Open Sequence
Similar to Rummy/Sequence

# of players
4
# of packs
1 (with two jokers)

Cards to exclude
None

Card Distribution
52 cards are distributed. Out of the remaining 2 cards, one is opened and one is closed

Hand play
The player next to the dealer starts. Players can take one of the cards below (1 open/1 closed) and discard 1 card. The discarded card is closed/opened based on which card is picked in the first place.

The goal is to get all the cards a sequence (cards in sequence in the same suit) or tripplet (3 cards of same number, but not belonging to the same suit).
Joker can be used to form either a sequence or tripplet.

How the round is finished?
If any of the players has all cards in either sequence or tripplet he/she can show and claim to be the winner.
One of the sequence should be natural (i.e. with out Joker). There should be at least a four carder (either a sequence or 4 cards of same number from different suits).

Scoring
A, J, Q, K have 10 points each. Other cards have points equal to their number. After one player shows, the remaining players sum points of all the cards in their hand that does not form a sequence/triplet (provided they have 2 sequences).

Players can agree for a threshold score like 200/300 and play till player's cumulative score crosses that threshold. In such case, the player who remains when all other the players cross the threshold, is the winner.
